Artist's Notes

I learned about hennessy's fondness for Dora the Explorer from her Mom. Hennessy had a Dora tent that we used for the portrait. We set it up in her living room and opened the window blinds to allow the wonderful soft light to fill the room. We even opened the front door, which added even more aprkle to Hennessy's eyes. Hennessy had fun watching a large stuffed Dora attack my nose. I think her little sister and I had as much fun as Hennessy, while we took the photographs. This image captures Hennessy's incredible smile and personality.
